I love this quirky, weird book whose main character talks to squirrels and has a highly entertaining dysfunctional family.

I'm 75% done and I realize I really do not like Mare Barrow. She is mean and a bit of a bully. I'll finish it, but I'm not loving it.
Daniel O'Malley throws these little gems of off-handed commentary and they are so fun!
OMG, I've waited THREE years for this!!!! If you haven't read The Rook, stop now and do it. This is the much anticipated sequel. Or in my case, "squeequel".
There's only now
There's only here
Give in to love
Or live in fear it
No other path
No other way
No day but today.
I am really enjoying this book, however it bugs the ever loving crappola out of me that the audio narrator only pronounces about 50%of the Hawaiian words correctly. Details, people, details.
Finally reading this (and listening to Stephen Frye's amazing narration). Now I won't feel quite so guilty when I flash mt Geek Card.
Oh to be a storyteller like Stephen King! Fantastic book. This is a must-read.
OMG, she wants you to empty your purse every night, so it doesn't feel like it is going to bed on a full stomach. 🤔
Lord, I just spent 30 minutes watching folding videos on YouTube. My OCD is very happy right now.
Well, I read it in a day but it still left me a bit flat. It's a little overworked in places, but she's a good storyteller. 4 stars for plot, 3 stars for writing.
Okay, I'm going in. Still processing ACOMAF but I'll survive. Anyone read this?
This book was fantastic! Better than the first due to one character: Rhysand! The end wrecked me, so much so that I cannot wait for Book Three. Sarah Maas: I bow to you.
You know this scene... Holy Hotness. Found this on tumbler: http://projectnelm.tumblr.com/tagged/my-art
I didn't read the book, but watched the movie last night. So silly, but the "proposal scene" was perfect!!!! Also Matt Smith was adorable as Collins.
Love and seeing. Karen Mazen Miller writes so beautifully with such simple truths.
I've read all of Clare's books, but this trilogy is my favorite. Everyone seemed more real, plots more poignant, and the ending of the trilogy is THE BEST.
Apparently the movie is still in development, even though we were promised it last September. This book continues to be one of my favorites I have ever read. The fact that it began in NANOWRIMO only makes it better
You know you've fallen asleep listening when you wake up and have no idea what's going on. 🤓😴 This is narrated by the great Jennifer Ikeda and she does a fabulous job.
Sarah wrote on Instagram that she's doing final edits on this and then going back to work drafting Book 3 in ACOTAR. This woman can churn out words like no one I know!!!
Boy do I like Rhysand so much better than Tamlin. 28% done. 😝
Book 2 in the Throne of Glass series. Also super fun and suspenseful.
This was a book I put down and picked up again about a year later (sometimes it's all about timing) I'm glad I picked it up again I will say this for SarahMaas, she can really write adventure!
Sadly predictable. Perhaps I didn't figure out every single twist of the story, but I hate when I'm less than halfway through and I know exactly where and how things are going. This is a very romantic historical fiction, it should be considered romance rather than historical fiction.
I do not know how to review this. The writing was exquisite, the concepts mind blowing and executed beautifully. It is a strange and beautiful book. It is woven into a tale so rare and strange, it all seems perfect.
Just started listening to this last night. It's good to be back with the Fey. 😃
