I had a really hard time with this book. I found myself skimming through some of it, and thinking WTF! through other parts. I know it's supposedly a 're-make' of Romeo and Juliet, but the writing style just wasn't for me. I did have the feels for what Elise goes through growing up, and what she has to endure while being with Jamey. It's a good book, just not for me.

This series is a favorite of mine. It's so heartbreakingly sad, yet the protagonist is a warrior in her own right. And even though each book in the series is the same story yet told in a different characters pov, it weaves together perfectly. Definitely worth a read if you like romance mixed with some of life's cruel tragedies.

I got my @owlcrate 'Make It Out Alive' June box in! The books look like they'll be interesting, as I love a good dystopian read. I like getting an authors note and signature more than some of the goodies, in all honesty, but I guess I'm different that way. Also, getting an Owl Crate exclusive book cover is pretty amazing! All in all a fun box.

The storyline and setting in this book is awesome! I have a feeling this series is going to be a big hit. But, and there's always a but, one character just seemed to pop out of nowhere. I believe this book could have been SOOO much better if she had brought him into the fold from the beginning. With that said, I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it for you YA fantasy lovers.

There were plenty of things I loved about this book, and certain things I was disappointed in. I felt like a lot of parts and characters could have been better developed, but she seemed to rush through it all. Her social experiment ideas were amazing, but the rest was so-so. It's still a decent read, but could have been so much better.

It Ends With Us is Colleen Hoover's best book to date, in my opinion. It's real and raw and will make you go through a box of tissues by the end. Actually, all of her books make me go through a bunch of tissues. Lol! I highly recommend all of her books, especially this one. 😊

I really wanted to love this book, since I loved The Royals series, but just didn't. It was so predictable that I had a hard time even wanting to finish it. It's not a terrible book, but it's just too easy to know what was going to happen and who was doing what. :/

*Spoilers* I loved the first book and the storyline was great. The second book disappointed me. I felt like she threw a bunch of random stuff together. Also, the fact that Feyre and Tamlin were over upset me. It felt like she just gave up on him. By the third book the story started rolling again, and I loved Rhysand and Feyre together. The book still fell flat in some areas, but it's still an awesome series, and I can't wait for book four.

I can't believe I waited so long to read this book! Tarryn Fisher has a writing style all her own. I highly recommend this book if you want something that tugs at your heart, and makes your brain shake.
