Bear Snores on, a modern fantasy(F) picture book, has won the Notable Children‘s Book Award. It is a cute book about a sleepy bear and his friends. The friends have a party while the bear is sleeping, but when he finally wakes up they hang out with him for a little before they all fall asleep. It is humorous and has many rhymes that children will love! I would use this book as a RA followed by the lesson.
