The Wonderful Things You Will Be, a realistic fiction(RF) picture book, is an amazing book from a parents perspective to their child. It is one of my favorites because it shares all of the possibilities there are in the world and encourages children to do something great in their future. I would use this in my classroom as a read aloud(RA) followed by this lesson plan.

I was thinking about this book today as I am looking to have my oldest start kindergarten this week. ?
This book tugs at my mom heartstrings. ? I love how it goes through "wondering" what amazing things your child will do and who your child will be. It's a touching read ?, and a great book for a new mom or any parent.
