Pickpick

5/5 stars. This is the beautiful new UK edition of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. It doesn't have the notes from Harry, Hermione and Ron that the first edition has but it has more background on Newt, six new beasts and beautiful illustrations. I love this edition.

4/5 stars. This is another great psychological thriller by Paula Hawkins. I love her books (even though she's only written two so far) and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Scorpioseah I have the book but haven't read it yet. Too many other books distracted me 😬 7y

The Cows | Dawn O'Porter

Pickpick

4/5 stars. I really enjoyed The Cows. It was (kind of) recommended to me from HarperCollins New Zealand and I'd heard really good things about it and it definitely lived up to the recommendations.

It covers friendship, abortions, feminism, the expectations put on women, the right to choose to even have children and so much more. I couldn't put it down.

4/5 stars. I really enjoyed One of Us is Lying. It reminded me a lot of Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl so if your a fan of those shows I'd definitely recommend finding a copy.

I could not put this book down until I knew what the hell happened to Simon.

nicole_in_neverland I keep seeing this book everywhere! I might actually have to give it a try one of these days! 7y
mylifeinbooks23 @nicole_in_neverland Apparently it's really cute. Not exactly the kind of book I usually go for but it's diverse and I want to start reading more diverse books. 7y

nicole_in_neverland It's not usually the type of book I read either but people just can't stop talking about it .... I'll give it to my sister first and see what she says lol 7y
alisiakae I just finished it last week. It's cute...a fun, summer read. A good one to read when you are in the mood for something light. 7y
mylifeinbooks23 @nicole_in_neverland I've seen a lot of people talking about it too. I'm hoping to read it next month. 7y
mylifeinbooks23 @4thhouseontheleft With all the fantasy on my TBR I'll definitely need something light soon. But we're in winter at the moment. 7y

Letters to the Lost | Brigid Kemmerer

Pickpick

4/5 stars.

I really enjoyed Letters to the Lost. It follows Juliette and Declan as the write letters to each other, thinking they're strangers. But they're not. And when real life interferes, it could end up tearing them apart.

I think this is one of the best contemporaries I've read in 2017 so far.

Mehso-so

3/5 stars.

I really enjoyed Adam's story. Although his family made me so angry, especially his father. But the ghost's story just left me really confused. I don't even know why it was in the book.

I gave the book three stars because of Adam and his friends. The ghost/Queen and the fawn or whatever it was were just weird.

I gave Fatal Crossing 3/5 stars. It had a slow start but the second half was a lot better and had more action/mystery.

And the ending was very surprising. I always enjoy books that have me guessing to the end. So even though it did have a slow start I still liked it.

Pieces of You | Eileen Merriman

Pickpick

I really enjoyed Pieces of You. It covers some heavy topics, like sexual assault and cutting but I thought the author handled both well.

I was disappointed with how one character's story ended. I thought they deserved better. But overall I enjoyed the book and couldn't put it down.
