I highly enjoyed the Lunar Chronicles so I had to give this one a try. The graphic novels followed Iko's perspective. It was fun and a quick read. I enjoy revisiting the beloved characters. 3.5 ⭐️

Thank you so much @Pageturner1 for the sweet book and gift card! This was so unexpected but so thoughtful and appreciated ❤️ and it‘s ironic because we settled on naming baby girl Scarlett 🥰 - I also keep meaning to send an email— I haven‘t gotten a box since… November I think? Did your #cbbc book get returned to you? @Mommamanzi
Even though I've already read some of the stories in this book, it was nice to be back in this world with all those lovable characters. I didn't really realize how much I missed them. Winter was my favorite again and also my favorite story here. But all are more or less favorites, only the last one wasn't for me. The wedding trope just isn't for me. Still, the story was also a beautiful tale about friends.

This is the 2nd book in the Lunar Chronicles series, & I enjoyed this more than the first, Cinder. The first one had to set the scene of the futuristic interplanetary realm & dragged a bit, though Cinder herself was an intriguing character. This one was all fast-paced plot plus new characters. I think Scarlet was meant to be tough & feisty, but to me she was kinda bratty (I'm showing my age 👵🏽). But it's a fun concept & a great popcorn read.
#tlt #threelistthursday 1. Cinder by Marissa Meyer ( and the whole series) 2. Harry Potter 3. For a Few Demons More by Kim Harrison ( Rachel Morgan and the Hollows series ) I love me a heroine and apparently a series
I finally got around to finishing this series I started such a long time ago. I will admit I was a bit fatigued by the time that I got to this book. It also took me a bit to get into the story. I enjoyed the middle part but then struggled again to finish the book. While I still enjoyed the story, I found my mind wandering and was hoping we would get to the peak a bit faster. The ending felt a bit unfinished to me as well. Happy to have completed!
