Pickpick

It's about people who make history and history which ruins people's lives and people who have strength to go on and make this world spin. No matter what. Breathtaking.

The Luminaries | Eleanor Catton

This is the case when you are only halfway through a really huge book but you already know for sure that you won't ever get enough of it. I'm literally enjoying every single line of "The Luminaries".

Pickpick

If you ever wanted to shake those characters you meet in classic English literature and say: "C'mon, open your eyes! Stop suffering and take you own life in your hands" then you will admire Flora Poste. She comes to a god-forgotten farm and works wonders there. Witty, ironic and just brilliant!

Pickpick

Such a gripping story which you first pick for the entertaining plot and then find yourself so much involved in the emotional struggles of the characters. It's about loss and guilt, betrayal and love. You'll not only find out who committed the crime but also the keys to solving your own problems.

LauraBeth ❤️ seeing that edition! 8y
natshell Glad to hear that @LauraBeth ☺️🌷 I read mostly in Russian so will be posting more Russian editions there :) Sometimes they resemble original ones. Sometimes they differ a lot :)) 8y
LiteraryinPA Just bought this book (the English version!) and can't wait to start it! 8y
natshell @LiteraryinLititz I think you'll enjoy it, if you liked her book about Alice ) It was my first novel by Moriarty but definitely not the last one )) I heard that "Big Little Lies" is pretty good too. 8y

Garden Spells | Sarah Addison Allen

Don't read "Garden Spells" if you are on a diet. Sara Addison Allen has a talent for inventing and describing so delicious treats that it feels impossible to read another dozen of pages without a cookie or candy :)
