Intriguing as well as heartbreaking. So many lives lost because a company just didn't care about anything but making a profit. My heart hurts for the tragic lives lost to being exposed to Radium. Highly recommend!
Chapter 4 of Jane Eyre is now available to listen to on Anchor.
I honestly watched the movies first growing up and just now starting the books. It's surprising as how different they are. I'm pretty conflicted about it. I truly love the movie characters better. It is still a great read and worth your time if you are a fan of Christian Fiction like myself. I may regret not reading the books first.
Every Christian girl needs to read this book. 10 life lessons that I wish I was taught when I was younger. This is the one book that will most definitely get you through the many struggles you will face during middle school as well as high school. Maybe even when you are older. For those parent's of teen girls out there, I highly recommend giving this to them as a gift in hopes they will learn from it.
Not sure how I feel about the finale of this series. Definitely worth reading! 5/5⭐
So tragic but yet such a powerful read. The author captured their stories beautifully. I can't wait to read Before We Were Your's now. Highly recommend! 5/5⭐ (Listened via Scribd)
5/5⭐ I had to get passed all the flashbacks to enjoy it but once I did, boy what an ending!
5/5⭐ This country can do better about sending people to death row for an innocent crime if they wanted to. They just choose not to because it's easier to say they are guilty than it is to prove their innocence. So many people have lost their lives and that is the saddest thing I have heard. I thought this country was better than that.
5/5⭐ An October book club pick that left me speechless at the end. I will have to read more from this author at some point. Highly recommend.
4/5⭐ It was a heartbreaking story. I don't fully agree or disagree with being gay, trans, or queer. All I believe and agree upon is that it isn't right to judge someone, make fun of, or assault anyone who you perceive as different than you. No matter your beliefs, I highly recommend reading this one. (Listened via Scribd)
Didn't see the point in all the extra history when it was supposed to be about a man who murdered a bunch of innocent people and children. Not the best Nonfiction I have read this year. 3/5⭐
I think it wrapped up quite nicely but the story line just didn't make sense. I still didn't quite understand how the ending happened but I guess it was ok. I don't recommend this one. It was closely a 3/5⭐ read for me.
4/5⭐ I'm not fully sure when I finished this considering it started over on me for some reason after the ending, but I must have enjoyed it since I just now realized after 60 minutes i to ch 1 that it sounded awful familiar. I skipped to the last chapter and was like yup it started over. I highly recommend reading/listening to The Black Count. He was an incredible young man and went from nothing to being the highest in command in the French Army.
Not an easy one to listen to but still quite interesting. It gets better towards the end. You will find a slightly amount of humor. 4/5⭐
"After a war, first come the corbies to eat the flesh; and then the lawyers to pick the bones"
Not the best Nonfiction I have read this year but still recommend (4/5⭐) Listened via Scribd
Her story was interesting but I felt like there was something missing. I still advise reading it if you love history novels. 4/5⭐
An Amazing story of a crew that was shipwrecked in the Pacific on a set of deserted Islands in 1865. Highly recommend! (Listened via Scribd) 4/5⭐
Audiobook podcast started. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.

I loved this book from page 1 til the end. Definitely will be reading more from this author later on
My month's pick is "A Curve In The Road" by Julianne Maclean 5/5⭐
Just finished this one. 4/5⭐. It was more so a novel than a memoir. Full of humor and a handful of relatable topics.
All 4 were 5/5⭐ for me. I wish I hadn't of waited all summer to read this. The best romance is the kind without all the vulgar language and sexual content.
If you loved The Nightingale, Lilac Girls or All The Light We Cannot See then you will surely love this! I highly recommend!
Just finished and it only took almost a month. I'm left speechless. The ending, can I just say wow?! If I say too much I'll give too many spoilers. Just please read this series. So much better than the shows!
An inspiring, heart felt story. This is more of a Christian memoir. I normally don't read memoirs but this one hit home. Highly recommend! (Listened via scribd)
One tragedy after another and this amazing woman still found the courage and strength to rule her country. Such an inspiring story!
Big Little Lies -5/5⭐
Outlander -5/5⭐
Gone Girl🎧 - DNF
Transcription🎧 -3/5⭐
Dragonfly in Amber -5/5⭐
Catherine the Great -5/5⭐
Home is the sailor, home from the sea, and the hunter home from the hill
I'm planning on starting a podcast. Comment below what you expect from a book podcast. Any and all advice would be appreciated!
My progress so far and I'm already intrigued with her story.
3/4⭐ Not sure what I just read other than someone was murdered and it was after World War II. I didn't want to DNF since I was intrigued by the story and wanted to find out what was going on but never happened. I'm quite disappointed. (Listened via Overdrive/Libby)
5/5⭐ Did not expect to enjoy this one. I'm looking forward to starting the TV series. The ending was just perfect. If it wasn't for #hookedonbooksclub on Instagram, I may have not picked this one up. So shout out to my amazing book club fam!
Currently Reading... It's starting out a little slow but I'm quite enjoying the story.
