My new book, bought it in Verona. Love it! 😍🤩
What I liked the most about this book is the realistic description of a love story, from the fabulous "falling-in-love" phase to "marriage in crisis". However, even though I found the main character well developed, I think the author put less effort in developing the secondary characters, which makes it harder for me to empathize with them.
Overall I enjoyed this read and I think I will read other books by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Taking part in this #randomgiveaway 😍, check out @Trashcanman 's page for more info!
And here is my copy of Uprooted by Naomi Novik. I'm so tempted to start reading it right away, but I can't!!! Real life is calling and if I start reading I know I won't be able to put it down until I finish it 😭
I enjoyed this book! Love the character's development and can't wait to see her facing a new adventure!
It's been a while since I've read a romance as I often find that the characters and the relationships described are quite unrealistic. From some points of view this book is no exception, but this didn't prevent me from enjoying it. The issues addressed in this book (Asperger's sindrome, importance of sexual consent) were very appealing for me and I loved the female character: a strong and indipendent women ready to take control of her own life.
The Astonishing Color of After made me want to read Dickinson's poems, so I ordered this right away. I just got it 😍

Just finished this book and I loved it so much! It's my first book by Naomi Novik and I'm so glad that I still have Uprooted to read (which apparently is even better than this one). I highly recommend it!
As soon as I discovered that Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine has been translated, I bought the Italian version for a friend of mine who I think needs this book at this stage of her life. The book has just been delivered and she fell immediatly in love with the plot! It's such a nice feeling when you find the perfect book for a person 😍 I feel like Cupid, with the only difference that I match people with books 😂
These three books are birthday presents for two of my friends. One of them is in love with London and as I loved Capital, I thought it could be the perfect present for her. The second friend loves sci-fi, but has never read anything by Philip K. Dick, while Martian Time-Slip is one of the few sci-fi books I've ever read. Introductory Lectures on Psycho-Analysis changed my life and after I told him about the general idea of the book he got intrigued
Exams are approaching, so I won't be able to read novels for a while. The silver lining is that I'll learn new things! 😊
Can't wait to find the time to read this one 😍
I'm so disappointed with how thing go between Jo and Laurie, I'm not sure I can keep on reading 😭
Just delivered, can't wait to read it! And the cover is soooo sweet!!! #sexisteducation
I don't fully agree with the last part, but I often have the feeling described in the first one. Anyway, what I'm sure about is that I have definitely chosen right when I've decided to read this book. Loved it!
I'm finally reading this book! It's been more than a month that I've been waiting!
