Highly recommended for anyone who studies or follows Econ, or any human who exists in a marketplace, really.
Amazing intro to feminist economics, slightly simplistic writing style but once I got into the voice I was hooked. I recommend to anyone particularly younger readers or people who think they don‘t understand much about economics. Starting from the premise that modern western economics was started by a man who never acknowledged his mum who got his dinner for him for free his whole life and the many types of work it dismissed, I learned so much
#TBRtemptation post! When I go to the bookstore, being the ?I am (and feeling like this ? when I walk out with some books), I browse just about every section of the store. And in the Economics section under New Releases, this one immediately caught my eye. I like the title and cover. And it's an Econ book recommended by *Margaret Atwood*, hello! It starts with the basic question, "how do you get your dinner?" #blameLitsy #blameMrBook ?
