Ok having seen some posts on book boyfriends I‘m going to have to go full #romantsy 😊 The character Matt in Once Upon A Rose is a big softie with a grumpy exterior - and he‘s French, grows roses, and takes off his shirt quite a bit. What‘s not to love?! 😂 The cover doesn‘t quite do it for me so I‘ve recast him as Justice Joslin. (A US model ex footballer) No thanks necessary 👍

Why did it take me so long to read this, and even longer to post about it? Now I'm trying to ration out the rest of the series for when I need sure-thing comfort reads 😂 #LitsyAtoZ #LetterO #romantsy

Also #SetInFrance, @LauraFlorand's La vie en Roses series focuses on the Rosier family, who are considered local royalty in Grasse because of their influence in the perfume industry. I've loved all three novels and one novella in this series!💖 Also, I used my Penhaligon's and Jo Malone fragrances as props for this shot... my current go-to scents.

Anyway, thank you @Chachic for recommending this #romantsy book. I loved these characters so much. I just smiled and smiled and SMILED, they were so sweet. (And hot of course!) Matt is definitely one of my top 5 romance heroes. Seems I have a thing for sweetheart guys - good thing I married a big softie of my own then! 😂😂

I first discovered @LauraFlorand when there were only two books in her Amour et Chocolat series. She's been one of my romance #autobuyauthors ever since. I also love her La vie en Roses series and can't wait for the next installment. Highly recommended for romance readers.

If you love all things French, a brooding alpha hero, who growls like a bear, sexily of course and a spunky, whimsical talented Goldilocks of a female lead who is definitely not the drama queen kind but instead is a practical romantic (meaning there is no misunderstanding ever happening in this book!) plus the gorgeous, gorgeous setting of southern France with all those scents and sights just brewing romance then read this one now!

I'm not sure I'm in the mood for contemporary romance right now but my recent one-clicks think otherwise. I've read and loved (and sometimes not loved) books by all of these authors. Once Upon a Rose was definitely a #blameitonlitsy from @Chachic post yesterday. #romantsy

Grumpy teddy bear of a hero, successful musician heroine suffering from creative burnout, hilariously annoying cousins and strong family ties, beautiful South of France setting.
