pick4 ⭐ Jack Prelutsky is such a phenomenal children‘s poet; I find it hard to believe that he has been banned. This book and its sequel the Headless Horseman Rides Again have both been banned. Why? Because they are scary. And because a while ago a 7-year-old in Ohio had an upset stomach after reading these scary tales (I wish I were making that up). I loved this book. It does not need to be banned.

A seller I follow on Instagram had a vintage children's book sale and this was one of the books she was selling. I didn't claim it in time though.
