I'm really enjoying the series so far. This time there was three separate stories. The first was about a strange man was talking to the demons about combining themselves into one. The second story was about a witch with snakes that involved Emma's friend. Lastly, was about Emma trying to figure out a ghost haunting. Loved all the stories, especially the last one. Graphics are good and this series is definitely for fans of horror.

The focus on Bernice and the Skinless Boy in this volume was nice. There were some guest artists in this one that weren't exactly my fave. (3pts. 2 for theme, 1 for post)

As in all classic Southern gothic stories, the history of Harrow County hovers like a dark cloud over its present-day inhabitants. While this book leaves a lot unanswered, it fills out some of the back story of the county and characters and ratchets up the suspense. Not the strongest book in the series, but definitely keeps the story going in interesting and creepy ways.

Sace I've read the first volume. Why haven't I read the rest? 6y

Volume 3 of Harrow County is a little more eclectic, expanding on the lives of some peripheral characters, seeding subplots and adding more depth to the setting. Normally, single-issue tangents annoy me in serialized storytelling, but I actually loved these additions, which are perfectly chosen to layer into the series' atmosphere as foreshadowing and subtext. 🖤

Cold, snowy day and a cold give me plenty of time to get through my backlog of comics. Harrow County, Monstress, Lumberjanes, 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank, Animosity, and Neighborhood Watch to check my micropress #readharder challenge.

RealLifeReading I've only read Lumberjanes and Monstress. The rest are new to me. Off to find out more!! 7y

Volume 3 brings additional artists to the comic. Initially reluctant to change by nature, I prefer Tyler Crook's murky, detailed watercolors, but the spirit is still there. Spooky💀🕷
