I would have given this title more if i had more than just a sample. The sample I was provided on Netgalley is missing so much of the story, that i am not sure if I like it or not. Currently i can say it looks the the rest of the series.

I went to the library to pick up a hold and discovered it was #FreeComicBookDay. They had a table of issues of different titles so I picked up #DCSuperHeroGirls for my daughter. Being 3 she can't quite read yet, but she loved reading through the pictures! #RaisingReaders #BookwormInTraining

Today, for #tiaratuesday, Princess Ellie wanted to show off her favorite book of the moment. Yesterday, her Super Hero Girls action figures staged an elaborate reenactment of this storyline that lasted more than an hour.

Ellie cannot read well on her own yet, but as an auditory learner, can memorize just about any story we read to her! We ❤️ audiobooks!

LauraBeth So cute 💕💕👑 7y
LeahBergen Oh, the sweetness!!!! I tip my virtual tiara to her and that epic story reenactment. 💗💗 7y
Cinfhen Wish we had access to video! Would have loved to see princess Ellie, superhero in action 💞💞💞 7y

Cute story that emphasizes even super heroes have to work to hone their superpowers (and even super heroes feel anxiety about tests)! Both are good lessons for kids 👍🏼

AbstractMonica Just ordered this for my daughter thanks to your post👌🏼 8y
Abby-J It looks super cute, and I'm super glad that DC is making comics geared towards girls. I like this whole product line. However, I really feel like Wonder Woman can handle herself alone after dark. 😉 8y
saresmoore My daughters are eagerly awaiting this one! (Even my non-reader, who is a powerful five-year-old force for feminism and all things Diana Prince.) 8y

Nice reversal of the stereotypical scene where the hero saves the damsel in distress, who is then all aflutter with gratitude 👍🏼
