so-so5 Poldark down; 7 more to go. I freely admit that whenever characters of Poldark series start talking about the mine I start skimming. TV show follows Book fairly close. I struggle with this series. Hopefully will be better when reach the point not yet shown on tv. A friend gave me the whole set & said pass them on when I'm done. I'm determined to finish & have the added incentive that my library is taking them when I'm done. #mounttbr

Poldark book 5 here I come!
Only the lateness of the hour is preventing me from starting this next one.
so-soI am not cool with how this book ended, and after reading the summary of the next book in the series (The Four Swans), I'm not fully convinced of the merits of continuing. At any rate, I won't be watching the new season of Poldark 😐
(The reason this is not a Pan is that I liked the adventure in France and the first part of the book)

I desperately want to go back to Cornwall. Spent a week there & it wasn't nearly enough. This pic I took on the walk from the Levant to Botallack mines (the latter plays "Wheal Leisure" in the TV adaptation of Poldark, and they were filming at the mine that day!). #booktober
