I posted about these books a while ago--my dad read them to me and my siblings when we were little and he gave me the set when my son was born (and hunted down new sets for my siblings!). Seeing him read this book, almost 100 years old, to my little guy today---well, that was something to be thankful for.

This book (Fifteenth edition, 1922) is very special to me; my dad read to us from this ten-volume set all through our childhoods. When my son was born, Dad gave me the set (and, being a great dad, went on to acquire other sets for my siblings). Now we're reading from it after school. #childrenslit #classics
