I‘ve always been intrigued with the Royal Family. While I had the opportunity to live in England for 3 Amazing years I finished my degree in History and actually traveled to many of the historical places I studied. To include various royal and aristocratic residences. This book was like sitting down with a cup of tea and hearing all the gossip and intrigue. Well worth the read #nonfictionchallenge #readingchallenge2022

My choice for #Royals is Chiomara. Because she was one badass chick. After being violated her attacker says he will return her for a gold ransom. When they reach her tribe there is an exchange between her and her men. They behead him. She takes his head back to her husband, drops it at his feet, and says something to the effect of "only one man alive should be intimate with me." #LyricalApril
