This is a super cute little novella that I don't know of many who have read. About some older men who get into a bird identification competition to see who gets to ask out the leader of the bird watching team.

First SantaThing read! Very charming, witty writing style. Many varied character portraits. The narrator was simultaneously intrusive and vague, which was odd. I learned a lot about the birds of Kenya, and a little about the people of Kenya. The ending felt a little rushed/glib (with artificially high stakes), but it was a fun ride while it lasted. #SantaThing

That's a funny and cozy novel about two aged rivals, competing for the attention of one lady.👴❤️🧓❤️👴 African environment, pictures of birds and a bit of ornithological practice included 🐦
