You know, since this is one of CoHo‘s favorites, I thought this was going to blow me away with how good it was…but it didn‘t really deliver on that. It was close…but maybe in light of all the reviews I read about it, I figured I had a pretty good idea where it was headed and therefore didn‘t really let myself get too invested in these characters. It did make me laugh a time or two, though.
pickI loved this book. I could relate to it in so many ways. For me, it read so easily, like the words almost came out of my own mouth.

The relationship was just so strange and it was hard to sympathize or understand. I liked how unique it was and it really did make me think. pickThis book was referenced in a Colleen Hoover book as her character's favorite book. So I quickly looked it up on Overdrive and added the e-book to my tbr list.
And it's amazing.
I couldn't give it 5 stars because I was constantly ready for the other shoe to drop. I kept thinking something bad was around the corner.
Also amazing-》there is actually a playlist on Spotify with all the songs referenced in the book! This made me stupidly happy.
pickThis book was Fantastic! ☆☆☆☆☆ Smooth but edgy. I will be reading more of DeBartolo. P.S The spotify Playlist is super cool too.

pickIt was the story that proved that there will always be an extra spot on my shelf for a next DeBartolo book. My only regret is that I couldn't fall for the main guy - not my type. But it doesn't hurt the book, it's still incredibly touching.

pickOn the surface this book is almost depressing, but when you read deeper it's one cynical woman's journey with her quirky boyfriend full of love, fate, strength and hope. Beautifully written
I loved this book and it's only 2.99 for Kindle today! Recommending for anyone who wants a good, quick read.

This book was supposedly very heavily influenced by the musician Jeff Buckley (The character of Jacob is basically Jeff, only as a writer instead of a muscian) and his music. Finally decided to tackle it.
