Great read. Scotland Yard Murder Squad‘s Walter Day has been Jack the Tipper‘s captive for a year. What does he want Day to do?

Great read. Wonderful period setting. London fog becomes a character, and wait until you read what happens in/to the grand new department store.

I love this series!

Accidentally bought five new books for my #toberead pile. Oops.

Police detective, Walter Day has been held captive by Jack the Ripper for a year. His colleagues and family have not given up hope but he is no longer the person he was. In fact if he ever returns he could well be a danger to someone close to him. This one is the best book in the 'Victorian CSI' series since the first. Rating: 4/5

Incredible continuation of a great series!

Excited to begin reading this book in the series. A little apprehensive as I know Mr. Grecian hasn't written another for this series...I do hope there is more. I have enjoyed the journey with Jack and the detectives.

The fifth in the Murder Squad series and possibly the best so far. Alex Grecian is a master of suspense and at many points throughout the book my heart rate was up and I was on the edge of my seat. Just when I thought it couldn't get more tense, Grecian proved me wrong every time. Love this series.
