@SarahKat84 It's on its way! Well, most of it. I'm mailing it this late because I'm waiting on an Etsy package that says it shipped ages ago but it hasn't arrived, so you get a bonus package as soon it gets here. I'm sorry! Don't they know we have a Litsy exchange going?! #SummerSantaGoesPostal #SummerSolsticeBookExchange @BookishMarginalia

All these books were 🌟🌟🌟🌟 solid stars for me, great novel debuts!!
My new currently read. I have to put down Risuko cos I couldn't get myself into the story. Maybe in some other time when I don't have personal issues. By the way, I'm starting to love Keep Me Posted. Have you read the story? What's your thoughts about it?
I just couldn't finish this book. As a mom of a young child, I was hoping I could get into it and enjoy the light and airy bits of this book but I couldn't. I found myself skimming pages about halfway through. Oh well! On to the next book!
This book was fine. Light and fun and it made me miss my sister. A bit simplistic but with a voice that I'm sure many mothers of young children could relate to.
#TBRTuesday. Another great haul from my library's bookstore. They are "selling" ARCs for $1 as a fundraiser. Donated by a local indie bookstore.
Read this one for my neighborhood book group for July. Great beach read just what we needed for the summer. Very Hallmark channel.
I'll take one of everything, please. Especially excited for Keep Me Posted!
This book was well written and I really liked watching the family grow through the novel. This really brings letter writing into perspective and makes me want to pick it up with my own sister. I would definitely recommend for a fun, light read.
Started this yesterday. Hopefully I'll get some more reading time today but so far, so good.
I mean....it was fine. But in a week, I won't remember anything about this sort of bland mommy-lit novel...
This is a clever book about some serious topics. I didn't quite love it but I liked it a great deal.
A perfect beach/pool read. Light, and easy to read but wrapped within an emotional journey, told through old fashion letter writing, between sisters with some hard truths about marriage and motherhood.
I loved so much about this book: the realness of the characters (they have flaws and make mistakes!), the exchanging of actual letters in this digital age (they had to walk to the post office box!), and the reminder that sometimes a boring life is a good thing.
"You know what our writing experiment has taught me? The power of having something to look forward to. Knowing every day that when I go to the mailbox there might be a letter from you-it's transformed my whole outlook. Let thinks transform you. Little things, even, can be magic. Be open to them."
