Didn't get much reading done tonight because I was busy running errands and baking up some chocolate hazelnut macarons for my office Christmas party tomorrow!

Lizpixie Yummy! I love macarons. Some of the best I've ever had came from the Lindt cafe in Martin Place in Sydneys cbd, Aussies will know which one I mean, but THE best I've ever had came from Adriano Zumbo's bakery in Balmain/Rozelle in inner west Sydney. Sooo good, his salted caramel were amazing but it was his raspberry white chocolate that were the best.🤤 8y

Sfox414 @EloisaJames I went on a major macaron kick a couple of years ago and never managed to get them right--only just got them down the last couple of times I've made them. I think my main issue was that I wasn't beating the egg whites enough, but using regular liquid food coloring killed me a couple of times too. I also switched from using homemade almond meal to using the kind you can get at Trader Joe's, which I think helped. 8y
