Magic, books, and cats collide in a village near Niagara Falls in the latest mystery from the author of Crime and Poetry... In Cascade Springs, New York, Violet Waverly and her grandma, Daisy, are the proprietors of Charming Books, where the power of the written word is positively enchanting... October in Cascade Springs means tourists are pouring in for the annual Food and Wine Festival, and Daisy hopes to draw those crowds to the store. She asks Violet and the local writing group, the Red Inkers, to give a reading of the works of Edgar Allan Poe in the shops back garden to entertain the revelers. Everyone eagerly agrees. Yet their enthusiasm is soon extinguished when Violet discovers one of the writers dead during the event. After the shop magically tells Violet shell need to rely on Poes works to solve the murder, she enlists the help of her trusty tuxedo cat, Emerson, and the shops crow, Faulkner. But they must act fast before someone elses heart beats nevermore... From the Paperback edition.

I think I finally found my next #cozymystery #audiobook series that's in the library.

My first one was the Hannah Swenson series and since I caught up on it I haven't found a replacement for my chill audiobooks that are actually in my library Libby/hoopla until now!

I really enjoyed this book. I love the cozy mystery series (magical bookshop). This is book 2 in the series and just as cute as the first one. Now on to book 3.

Finished the tagged cozy early this morning (🌟🌟🌟🌟) … can‘t wait to read #3!! Finished Gunnie Rose #2 - the dramatized audio version - last night (🌟🌟🌟🌟), and have #3 of *that* series keyed up from NetGalley. 😁 Also started the novella by Dervla McTiernan, The Sisters, on audio this morning.

It‘s a very murdery and mystery‘y kind of reading month for me! 😄

🎼🎶 one of these things is not like the others… one of these things is doing its own thing… 🎵🎶

Finished Caste. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 including on audio. Had to own it.

We had Amanda Tyler speak to our group and — well, I had to follow up *that* with owning her book.

And I really really enjoyed the first Magical Bookshop mystery, so… welp. Had to get the second.

This is in my top three favorite cozy series! Such a fresh take, and this time the killer surprised me until just a few pages before the reveal :)

Housing continues to be a struggle- we‘ll know by 1830 tomorrow night if we have an accepted offer- think good thoughts! Especially because our landlord has decided that maybe they‘ll demolish our house in June now instead of August 😳 Mostly kindle until the move as I packed all my books today.

MsMelissa Good luck with your offer 🤞🏻 4y

Enjoyed book two of this paranormal cozy series. Violet solves another murder, and learns a surprising secret about her own family that not even her grandmother knows. Fun read. Adding book three to my queue. Enjoying this series quite a bit so far.

A magical bookstore where books often choose a customer who needs to read them. Cute tuxedo cat that often leads his mistress in the right direction. A crow who lives in the bookstore and often mimics the raven from Edgar Allen Poe, screeching 'Nevermore' and flying around like a guided missile. This is a strong sequel to the first book in the series.

Light and fun #cozymystery with a supernatural bookstore twist 👍🏼

mrsmarch Did you happen to receive a box today? I am testing to see if UPS is a reliable carrier before I send a great load of school things for @WanderingBookaneer‘s school children. 7y

Such a cute little mystery. Not overly heavy on the cute but still just cute enough.

Challenging myself to read outside of my normal wheelhouse this year and I thought these were super cute. These might be the crazy cat lady genre but hey, I fit that stereotype! 🐱📚✨#cozymystery #nickandnora #magicalbookshopmystery

clutteredbooks My first time to come across this genre late last year thanks to a group reading challenge. They're fun reads! 8y
Joybishoptx I want to read one of these. 8y
