I like the information guide in the bag. It would be something fun to look through if you had a class with you.

This book is simply a book of the alphabet but lists a bunch of fruits and vegetables that start with the letter on the page. It has an information guide on each food listed in the back.

Dollar bag day for the #library book sale! I always feel like I'm stealing....all of these books for only a dollar!! The stack goes up to my toddlers elbow and there's a Moxxi cat peeking in the background! 😸

Babe's recent #bookhaul has the unintentional theme of stuffing face ? alas most of the Japanese books he gets aren't on Litsy or Goodreads so I occasionally find a book under a piece of furniture and exclaim, "I forgot you had that! Let's read it!" #babyreads #boardbook #nihongo #food

I don't think I'll have time to put together a rainbow book stack today, but here's a little rainbow lunch and its happy recipient, Lucy Goose!

britt_brooke So cute! 8y
LauraBeth If I still made commercials, I would ask you if I could hire your girls to star in them 😀💕 8y
saresmoore @LauraBeth Aww, shucks! 😘 Maybe commercials are a good idea. They might learn how to follow direction! Side note: Are you feeling any better today? 8y

saresmoore @britt_brooke She is pretty cute, although I can see the beginnings of an awkward stage in that freckled face. My husband and I are banking on long, painful awkward stages for both of our girls so we don't have to build a basement in which to lock them away until adulthood. 😬🙃 8y
LeahBergen Her hair is gorgeous!! (and my awkward stage lasted for about 6 years ... and I think I've just entered another one 🤔). 8y
Flaneurette So much cute! 8y
saresmoore @LeahBergen Ahahaha! Mine was about 7 years, I think, but my brother would argue it's still going strong. In that case, there are two things I won't outgrow, awkwardness and having a younger brother! 8y
Suet624 Pure sunshine right there. 8y
LeahBergen @saresmoore Older brother for me. ? He's called me his "ugly sister" for so long that people he introduces me to are shocked that I don't immediately repulse them. 8y
saresmoore @Flaneurette @Suet624 @BooksForEmpathy Isn't she a sweetie? I had to make her laugh to get a real smile out of her. She tends to do the obligatory school picture smile. 😬 8y
saresmoore @LeahBergen Brothers are terrible! The funniest part in my case is just how much alike we look. He's a taller, huskier, masculine version of me! But don't get me started on who's smarter... 8y
LauraBeth @saresmoore I am much better today! Thanks for asking ? I never knew girls could skip the awkward stage until my kid went straight into long legs, the dentist saying, "her teeth are perfect - no braces needed!", boys walking her home from the bus stop, the neighbor telling me, "wow - your daughter really grew up - my son has a crush on her", and older men staring ☹️ I thought I'd have a few good awkward years. Go ahead and build the basement... (edited) 8y
britt_brooke @saresmoore 😂😂😂 8y
SharonGoforth What a cutie! 😊 8y
DeborahSmall Check that beautiful hair! Stunning 😍. @LeahBergen I still get called swanny by my brother, dad and sisters because of my long neck. We had a lot of harsh banter growing up but we all have a great sense of humour and never take ourselves seriously 💞 8y
DeborahSmall @LauraBeth sounds familiar! My eldest son had awkward teen years, 18 now and has a girlfriend but was a real nerd for years, a gorgeous lovable nerd with no confidence. Now my youngest son,11, the opposite he's full of confidence and hasn't been without a gf in 2 years. He has girls 2/3 years older asking him out. He is so good looking I get told I should have him modelling lol! But it scares me! I don't want Sophie to get any older 😩 8y
Hobbinol Much prettier than a rainbow stack! 8y
saresmoore @DeborahSmall I have to remember my own rivalries with my brother when I scold my daughters for bickering. It's part of growing up with siblings! @LauraBeth Having beautiful children is a blessing and a curse, I suppose! 8y
LauraBeth @DeborahSmall you have your hands full over there! 😀 8y
LauraBeth @saresmoore we were struggling with getting her to her middle school youth group on Thursday bc I was sick and the husband had to work late. So we were like, "she can miss it!" until I remembered that the middle school pastor was going to discuss purity ? and then I was crawling out of bed and driving her while in my pjs 8y
saresmoore @LauraBeth 😂 That is fantastic! The sacrifices of a parent are great, but so worthwhile. 8y
