Last year a group of friends and I did a Lord of the Rings reread. This year it's Harry Potter! I haven't touched the books since the first couple of times I read the final book so I'm looking forward to it! #OrderoftheReread

I finished listening to this yesterday and found that I liked this book more than I had anticipated! I'm going to have my husband listen to the book (it's only 5 hrs!) and I want to read it in physical format too. I've already started folding the babies clothes via her method.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Magical realism that I truly enjoyed!! Novel set in Cuba and New York about the women of a family split after the revolution, it moves through different perspectives and different times.

Giving myself a gold star 🌟 for finishing 6hrs of reading for the #11thHourReadathon! I read one novella, started and am about 40% through a book I've been putting off (and it's so good too!), read lots of books to my littles, and listened to a picture book in audio format. I'm feeling a bit proud of myself 😊

Memoir on growing up without any formal education, working in the family scrapyard at a young age, and parents that believe the government is out to get them and that doctors and modern medicine are death traps. Her decision to leave and go to college was an incredible journey. The physical, verbal, and emotional abuse she suffered from her family was disturbing. Beautiful writing. One of the best books I've read in 2018.
