I‘m finally caught up on all my reviews!!
My friend got me this cool tote from the NYPL, so tell me friends what ARE you reading right now?
This was a pretty fun audiobook. Really quick and she has a great sense of humor and very honest with her life experiences. I enjoyed this mostly because her narration was good and made it even more relatable.

Day 24: Read In One Sitting—Being in the "responsible adult" portion of my life, I don't get much opportunity to knock out a book in one sitting. I read two modest-length books last week in one *day* each (only because I was on the road too much and/or not sleeping enough). Tagged is the only one-sitting recent read, to which DH and I listened in the car on our spring road trip. #RiotGrams #ReadInOneSitting #AdulthoodIsOverrated #FunnyCanadians
'Jeebus H. Krispies!' For when you need to tone down your 'Jesus H Roosevelt Christ!'🙊

This was an emergency fall-back for in the car between Savannah & Nashville, as DH's Libby isn't playing nice today. Luckily, I had had the foresight to download this in Audible before our trip. DH felt it was similar to Jenny Lawson's books.
Funny in parts but didn‘t get really good until the last 20%
So great! Just the kind of funny, brash, loud, and sort of subversive read I wanted!
Hilarious! And delightful, snarky, relatable, and everything I could ever hope for from a Samantha Bee memoir. I loved the audio—I was laughing and looking like a fool anytime I listened in public. It‘s not inspirational like Amy Poehler or Tina Fey‘s memoirs, if that‘s what you‘re into. Purely autobiographical and meandering musings about her own life and times. 🐝
Thank you @Clwojick for the giveaway opportunity! So generous 😘
This is the last book that I remember actually laughing out loud while reading. And I did so repeatedly and with great joy.

I love an audiobook narrated by the author. And I love Samantha Bee's voice. The content just wasn't my cup of tea. #readwomen
I read this one on my kobo so I could read it at night when my husband was asleep. But that also meant I had to try not to laugh out loud. But that just means I shook the bed a lot when trying to keep it in. Absolutely hilarious. 😂😂😂😂😂
Samantha Bee is hilarious. I'm sure that I looked completely insane, giggling to myself while I listened to this audiobook on the bus.
If anyone uses kobo for their ereading, they've got a great sale today on books by women writers!
I picked up:
Swing Time - Zadie Smith
I Know I Am, But What Are You? - Samantha Bee
City of the Lost - Kelley Armstrong
Homegoing - Yaa Gyasi
Hag-Seed - Margaret Atwood
Binti - Nnedi Okorafor
All for under $30 (CAN). Happy Reading!
This audiobook, narrated with a level of sarcasm and snark that only the author could bring, is quite possibly my new favorite memoir. It's purely biographical, and though, relatable, Bee never pushes too hard to be inspirational. The stories of Bee's childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood had me laughing aloud, which would have been great had I not been listening in bed while my husband tried to sleep. #audiobook #feminist #memoir
Finally home so can participate in Fun Photo (Foto?) Friday! My favorite author inscription is definitely the one from Samantha Bee!
