pickI finished up on my commutes & I‘m just sad it took me so long to finally read it-but happy I listed to the audiobook. Amanda Ronconi does a great job narrating Molly Harper‘s books. Light & snarkily funny story about second chances when your life implodes as Lacy‘s does when the drunken town florist delivers an arrangement meant for her husband‘s mistress. She retaliates by sending out his company newsletter with some “extra” info & he sues her.
My #audiosouping pick again today since I am both needing something light & fun & I‘m also determined to finish this one in September.
The soup is a base of Mark Bittman‘s Creamy Tomato Soup that is likely to end up a bit of a disaster as I am doing some kitchen experimenting for my virtual foodie book club entry. Finished soup pic coming later today once I blend it up & add my “experiments!”🤷🏻♀️🤣
So I‘ve read all of Molly Harper‘s other books (her newest Half-Moon Hollow book is out on 9/28!) & I‘ve literally posted that I‘m going to read this one for 4 years on Litsy!🤷🏻♀️Just got the audio book on a deal & it‘s my #audiosouping choice for today because I need something light.
I‘m channeling fall with this baked potato soup-82 degrees F. be damned!😅I can eat potato soup any time & it will be great in lunches. Finished🍲pics to come!

This book seems like a perfect light and fun summertime read and maybe this summer I'll actually get it read as it looks like I posted that I was starting it a year ago.🤣I do love Harper's book series, but other books keep jumping in front of this standalone.

A bit of a blustery and cool day again-our predicted weather all week-which makes a bowl of leftover Tomato, Fennel & Cod Soup particularly welcome.
