One of my coping strategies for PTSD flare ups, especially when they occur late at night, is listening to an audiobook with the volume up loud to distract me. Realized last night it wouldn't work because my current 3 audiobooks are either crime related, political or depressing. The American read out loud to me instead (major ❤️),but suggested I "find some fluffier audiobooks". So Littens - hit me with your lighter non-fiction recommendations!

LauraBrook One of my favorite audiobooks is Rococo by Adriana Trigiani, the version narrated by Stephen Hoye (NOT Mario Cantone). There's a very soothing quality to his voice, and hearing him talk about tassels and fabrics is comforting to me. I think I've listened to it at least 3 times now, and I never re-listen to audiobooks!
