You put a lot of thought into your choices. Great variety of bks, love the bkplates, the flash drive w/audiobks is cool, & dark chocolate is my fav! Thank you for thinking of my girls. They loved the chocolate and the mother/daughter coloring activity is thoughtful!
Long story short, this was supposed to be mailed out on Friday but didn‘t get mailed until this morning. This little box of goodies is on its way west and will arrive on Valentine‘s Day! 💕📚💕📚💕

At the dealership getting new tires today. This could take a good 2-3 hours. I brought 664 books with me - Kindle: 192 books, Nook: 471 books, and Library: 1 book. Just wanted to make sure I had enough reading material during the wait. 😂
Okay, you all probably already know this and I am the last to know BUT how did I not know there is going to be a sequel to Beartown?! Where have I been?! 😮😳🤔
The TWO main reasons my life is so busy and I haven't had as much time for reading in the past six years. Although my reading has taken a back seat, I love reading to my girls and watching them as they learn to read! Happy Birthday to my #LittleLittens!

FINALLY getting a chance to post, its been a long day! I woke up bright and early and began opening my #SummerSantaGoesPostal package from @Bengali.bookworm . My twins woke up and came into the living room as I was opening my gifts and were quite confused as to why I was opening presents when it is THEIR B-DAY today! Thank you so much Bengali Girl! Pictures to come! On a side note I have two little ladies eyeing up my new watermelon pencil case!
It has arrived!!! I'm not sure who my Secret Santa is but Thank You So Much!!! I'm looking forward to June 21st, it's my twin daughters b-day and now I get to treat myself too! (I'm thinking of it as a gift for surviving 6 years of double duty!!! 😜)

This little box of bookish goodies is headed East across Lake Michigan! (And maybe skimming across another Great Lake 😝) It should arrive Thursday, June 8th. 📪📦📚 #SummerSantaGoesPostal #SummerSolsticeBookExchange

Yes, I've been MIA. ⬆️These little ones have kept me quite busy the last month!⬆️ I'm still around enjoying scrolling through all your posts when I get a minute to myself. I'll try to pop in and out when I can but I will still always be around lurking 👀 and living vicariously through all your bookish posts! I apologize to anyone who I may have missed responding to in previous comments over the last few weeks.
The characters in this book are both literally and figuratively a #LongLongWayFromHome. #RockInMay
In keeping with @britt_brooke's anniversary shout-out last week, today's #MelodicMay photo prompt is in honor of my wedding anniversary. 💕Happy Anniversary to the guy who puts up with my book hoarding, massive library book hauls, looks that could kill when I am interrupted while reading, and who is willing to partake in a couples and family bookclub with me. A #CrazyLittleThingCalledLove will do this to you! 😍😘
A nice little short story about the power of forgiveness.
(Stephen King's novella Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption is based heavily on this short story.)

Not only does this supernatural mystery center around a deeply philosophical/religious concept but it explores the relationship between mother and child and the lengths a mother will go for her child. Although the book is a work of fiction, it includes fascinating excerpts from a nonfiction book. I was able to meet the author last year when her debut novel was released. #MayBookFlowers #supernaturalmysteries
Just purchased one of the daily #kindledeals. Based on the synopsis this book could be classified as #BlackorWhite. Plus, I took a picture of my kindle with my black and white garden shed as a backdrop. 😝

“That was the thing about best friends. Like sisters and mothers, they could piss you off and make you cry and break your heart, but in the end, when the chips were down, they were there, making you laugh even in your darkest hours. ” - Kristin Hannah, Firefly Lane
I loved this book! It beautifully illustrated the true meaning, importance, and benefits of a life long friendship.

I read this book 15 years ago for a college course (yikes, I'm aging myself 😳).

Since I'm not big into science fiction I viewed #InAGalaxyFarFarAway a little differently. The main character in this book uses the constellations as her main support system during her unstable childhood and into young adulthood.

What in the world is wrong with me?! I'm only about 12% into the book and I've declared myself "Team Joe"! ? What the heck does this say about me?! ? Maybe I need to seek help... ??
Favorite book that begins with "A". This story deeply touched me. An amazing story of survival, perseverance, and hope. Not only did I learn a lot but this book really put things in perspective and made me think twice about my "first world" problems. I believe this book should be required reading in schools. This was a fascinating, quick, easy read that I would highly recommend to everyone. #ALEXGIVEAWAY
