This book is really similar to diary of a wimpy kid so if you enjoy that you will surely enjoy this. It‘s a good book and has a great sense of humour but it‘s considered childish. No matter what it‘s consider I enjoyed it.

Middle School The Worst Years of My Life , written by James Patterson and Chris Tebbetts, and illustrated by Laura Park, is a super fun RF book and also a New York Times Best Seller. This novel was a fun and easy read that talks about different struggles of a middle schooler, similar to Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I personally think Diary of a Wimpy Kid is better overall, but this book is still a great read, especially for those entering middle school.
"People always talk about how great it is to get older. All I saw were more rules and more adults telling me what I could and couldn't do, in the name of what's 'good for me'."

It's been awhile since I read the book, but my daughter wanted to see the movie -- she saw part at after school care.
I have to say .... quite good! This one far surpassed my expectations. Now, I'm going to read the book again soon.
After spending the first 9 years of my career teaching high school, I'm taking a jump to middle school (7th and 8th grade to be exact). With that being said, and while I love YA, I don't spend a lot of time in middle grade novels, so my fellow Littens, I need your help! What are some MUST HAVE novels I should add to my bookshelves that are appropriate for middle school? #TeachersOfLitsy #BookRecommendations
Who doesn't remember their dorky middle school years? Fun tween book on the misadventures of middle school.
One of the first books I've been able to just sit down and read this year, it's good to get away from reality with a good funny younger oriented book for a while, funny read I would recommend!
Volunteering at the middle school scholastic book fair this afternoon. I've always loved these book fairs and I can't wait to see what books my daughter chooses!
