Day 19 - #Lost #NewYearNewYou
Just read this in December and really enjoyed this book. If fact, this is a great series but this 3rd book of the series is my favorite. You should definitely check this series out. Highly recommended!

Just read this in December and really enjoyed this book. If fact, this is a great series but this 3rd book of the series is my favorite. You should definitely check this series out. Highly recommended!
10 year old boys are being killed. Barney Roberts and Lacey Flint need to step-up their game to find this killer before their lives are on the line. Twists & turns make the plot fast-paced. Suspect many characters but when the killer is revealed in the end, it is more than a surprise. It's unbelievable! One more book left in the series and I am looking forward to it. I highly recommend this series to those who enjoy psychological suspense.
Schedule for the Librarything Group Read of #LikeThisForEver, Book 3 in the Lacey Flint Series. All welcome to join. 😊
Also published under the title Lost.
Next in my #libraryhaul is Bk3 in the Lacey Flint series, coz apparently my library thinks having Bks1&3 in a series is enough. Oh, also having another copy of Bk3, but under its US release title so you end up borrowing 2 versions of the same book! Yep, in this haul I have both. Surprise! But forget about Bk2, don‘t need that. #Scareathlon #TeamSlaughter 1point #PointsTotal-286
And the question is,
'Is to have had and lost
Better
Than not having at all?'🎶

The TV series #Lost ran for 6 series from 2004 and 2010, and was one of the most confusing shows I‘ve ever seen. I never did get the polar bear....

The third book in the Lacey Flint series does not disappoint. After the horrendous events that happened in Cambridge, Lacey, traumatized, decides to take a break from the MET, ignoring everyone including Mark Joesbury. But when five, ten year old boys are murdered, Lacey teams up with her bright 11 year old neighbor to figure out the killer. Unlike her 2nd novel, which fell a bit flat, this novel thrills the reader and harkens back to her debut.
Just as entertaining as the first two, and again, the author made me come up with a million different theories, only to prove all of them wrong in the end. I have the fourth one on hold at the library and I can't wait to read it!
