Deep Blue Secret
Deep Blue Secret: The Water Keepers | CHRISTIE ANDERSON
5 posts | 6 read | 12 to read
Anderson is the newest and hottest writer there is. It is believed that if this series goes as hot as we think it is, it will be better than Twilight! Stephenie Meyer, look out! ~Young Readers Group of Maine""Every once in a while I come across a writer that is such a great storyteller, I cant put the book down. I forget where I am, what time it is, and if theres anyone around me... Christie Anderson is such a writer. ~Karen Hoover, Author of The Wolfchild Saga A sweet, mysterious teen romance with a refreshing fantasy twist. California teen Sadie James thinks her life couldnt get any better. She has great friends, an energetic mother she adores, and the beach practically in her own backyard. But her carefree life is turned upside down when shes rescued by a mysterious and strangely familiar boy who wont even tell her his name. Each time the boy appears, Sadies unexplainable attraction to him deepens along with her need to unravel his secrets. The boy is there to protect her, but as wonderful and exciting as it might be to have an irresistible boy with crystal green eyes protecting her every move, every minute of the day...why does Sadie need one? As Sadie finds answers, she realizes her life isnt as perfect as she thought. Not only is she caught in a world of dangerous secret agents she never knew existed, but it turns out her true identity may be the greatest secret of all.READING LEVEL: Teen, Young Adult (Mild violence, NO explicit sexual content or profanity)PRINT LENGTH: 358 Pages

Bailedbailed

Well, I am bailing on my #bookspin pick! I made it over 40% through, but the story is SO slow and there is WAY too much of Sadie daydreaming/having feelings about The Mysterious Boy she barely knows. Just not feeling it! This one has been on my Kindle since December 2016, and apparently there was a reason I had been putting it off!!

Will I actually read my #bookspin pick this week? The other titles on the post-it are my #AuthoronLitsy book for #ReadWithMrBook & my oldest unread Kindle title for #BFC28. The Christie is for #agathachristieclubr2 & the other 3 are random titles from the TBR, including a lil trip to Austria for #ReadingEurope2020.

I'll be posting a reminder later this week - almost time to start getting April #bookspin lists together!!

1 - I have a tendency to go overboard!! No photo challenges for me, but I am participating in #ReadtheUSA2020, #SeparatedbyaPondTour, #ReadingEurope2020, #Booked2020, #AuthoraMonth, #LitsyAtoZ, & #ReadWithMrBook
2 - I host #BookSpin (tagged book is this month's pick!) & have a weakness for any type of reading bingo, so I am reading for #Jennyis30 & #WinterBookBingo as well as the BookishFirst book bingo card each month. I do “cheat“ on ⬇

TheAromaofBooks (cont'd) - challenges: I rarely pick books because they fit a need; I like to read books & then see which boxes they check!!
Also forgot that I am also in #LMPBC & am reading along with #HeyCarrots, & this month am participating in #MarchUnshelving... guys, I may be addicted to hashtags!
3. It's hard to pick just three: a husband who fits all the “my other half“ cliches, a sister who is also my best of friends, & a family that always has my back

Eggs Busy reader!!!! Thanks so much for playing! 4y
Butterfinger I am also tempted by the challenges. 4y

Well here is my #bookspin book! I bought it December 2016 and have literally no idea what it is about haha

I've had a crazy day at work and another one planned for tomorrow, so while I have read and enjoyed every comment on the #bookspin posts, I haven't had time to personally respond to them all. But I am SO touched and happy to see everyone's enthusiasm and LOVE reading all of your reviews!! Thank you for making this a thing!! 😁

mollyrotondo Haha don‘t you love that?! Buy a book but so much time goes by before reading it that you don‘t even remember what the book is about. It will be a surprise! 4y
TheAromaofBooks @mollyrotondo - Right?! I definitely go through stages where I completely load up my Kindle with free and cheap books and later have literally no idea what I was thinking haha 4y
DieAReader This exactly how I found the Jessie Hunt Psychological Thrillers Series & also the tagged anthology lol! Some really good new to me authors so far in 2020 thanks to my freebie Kobo downloads! 🤣📚 4y

BookishMe Hats off to you in trying to engage with the BookSpinning (see what I did there 😁) Littens! I understand it must be time-consuming... Thanks again for this marvellously lawless fun! ❣️❣️ 4y
TheAromaofBooks @SquidgetsRoom - yes!! I have found a lot of good new authors and books this way as well. I especially tend to go for fluffy romances and such on my Kindle so there are always fun new reads like that on BookBub and such. I kind of find comfort in having a million unread Kindle books with me at all times! 😂 4y
TheAromaofBooks @BookishMe - Thank you!! I really enjoy hosting because I love hearing what everyone is reading and whether they are enjoying it and all of that happy stuff!! Unfortunately this month my personal schedule didn't line up super well with the biggest bulk of the #BookSpin madness!! It's still good fun, though. 4y
BookishMe Absolutely! Well, life happens... And I doubt Bookspin will shrink ;p just gotta roll with it 💕💕 4y
DieAReader Couldn‘t agree more @TheAromaofBooks 📚🥰 4y
