pickI loved this book, about all the different ways that charts can deceive us, particularly those shown in the media. I‘m sure some people would absolutely hate a book all about charts and graphs(it does get quite math-y in places too!), but it‘s right up my street!

pickInvisible Women illustrates how the male default/bias across broad swaths of society leads to policies and behaviors that benefit men and discriminate against women, at times with deadly consequences. It‘s data-heavy but not at all dry and sadly it did not surprise me at all, though it is fascinating. In order to change our world, we need to make problems of ingrained bias visible and this is a good step in that fight.

I find it hard to keep up with bingo boards, and all of my reading goals sort of fell apart with the stress of this year, but I loved this challenge. It pushed me to read a few books completely out of my comfort zone, and I got 1 bingo line!
I hadn't updated this in so long and had to go back through my reading log to see what fit. I did manage a bingo which surprised me.
