@steverogers asked, what I spend my money on if its not on books.

Yarn, preferably some fancy 100% virgin wool or a wool-silk-blend to make shawls.
Notebooks, then I only write a few things into them. 🙈

julesG @steverogers One can never have too much Lush. Although I'm going to explore "Neal's Yard" some time this week. --- oh, and I forgot: (fountain) pens. I have a lot, from cheap to expensive. Would love a vintage Mont Blanc but must rob the Bank of England first. ? 7y

julesG @HannaPolkadots Oh, don't tempt me. 🙈 Those pens are gorgeous. @Eridau I absolutely love Wollmeise yarn, Malabrigo and Tosh. All posh, I know. I try independent dyers from time to time. There are so many. I've a friend who only buys Hedgehog Fibres. I always think, I will let the yarn run through my fingers for hours, I want to wear this handknit garment, so I should use yarn that makes me happy. 7y
julesG @silentrequiem Spinning! I admire anyone who takes the time to spin their own yarn. I gave it up, because I thought it was eating up my knitting time. Do you use a drop spindle or a wheel? 7y

Perhaps it goes without saying that I'm not at all a knitter; regardless, I was intrigued, flipping through this memoir at the bookstore the other day. Didn't buy it, though.
