This was a little predictable like any good Rom-Com, but also a good story with likable characters and plenty of 🌶️!

#TLT Thanksgiving Desserts - if I overachieve at anything, it might be sweets and dessert. I have tried 70 out of 100 of the desserts.
The ones I‘ve hated got more of a reaction 😂 and like @AmyG they were jello based! That said my aunt makes a wonderful raspberry cream cheese layered beauty with jello that I am going to try to recreate for my family to bring some magic to this Thanksgiving. I am curious about Cherry Coke Salad? Tagging All!

It‘s holiday trash season for me! 🎄 This was more raunchy than any holiday romance I‘ve read, so beware if that is not your thing, that said, the story line was pretty good. I don‘t think I‘ll continue the series all the same. It seems i prefer more yearn and a little less graphic sex in seasonal books 🫣🤣

@Texreader says it‘s Cat Day!! This picture taken by my daughter made me laugh out loud. I feel like Kevin needs to have the song “Macho Man” by the Village People on for his theme, posturing like a thug. He is normally slightly less ornery looking.

1. I‘m not but I did buy a creepy cat mask at the dollar store…just in case. I love Halloween, it‘s my husband‘s birthday and was my mom‘s favorite, she always dressed up to Trick or Treat with us when I was a kid.

Sad what “experts” find offensive. I let my kids read everything and anything, and my mom did the same, it‘s a big world out there - let them be prepared to discuss all the things. 🤯📚

1. I had a funeral to attend Friday which produced the most unexpected joy of seeing my extended family.
2. A pedicure with my favorite sister who‘s not my sister.

4. “Mom advice” call with my youngest daughter
5. Fall leaves and 4 5k walks while listening to Long Island ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ a great week!

The Irish accent always draws me in, a story of a middle aged woman, married with nearly adult kids, who goes back to Ireland when her life in Long island hits the fan. A return to youth and an old love which becomes quite a mess. Of course the three main characters don‘t recognize the impending disaster, it‘s what makes fiction so fun. I struggled with Brooklyn some time ago, I think I could appreciate it now. I feel like there is more to come.

I‘m wrecked. Family is complicated, this one is super-sized. A little slow moving at times but so worth it. It is rather heavy with grief, which I occasionally like to soak in. It is also filled with addiction.

I apologize, yes this is political but it is JOY this week for me. So many moments, so energizing, and of course the crafting I did while cheering from my couch. There were so many more than 5 moments, what a week. Cheers for my friend in a same sex marriage with his soul mate, for my daughter‘s right to their bodies, to neurodivergent expression, to kindness and respect.
