I listened to the audiobook of this one via Audible,
I enjoyed this one, it did feel a bit too adult for middle grade/children though,
possibly more YA.

I honestly love this book, it‘s amazing and I can‘t wait to read the rest of the series. It is very well written and I finished it quite quickly because I always wanted to read more. LOVE IT.
The fact is, a human isn‘t much at all when they lack imagination.
“I think I have an idea,” Violet said, placing down her cup. “Oh no! Not another one” Boy teased.
“ It‘s dangerous, Violet, I‘m warning you.” “I know” she said “But it‘ll be safer if we do it together”
I enjoyed this book. It is aimed at kids, but is a light easy read after a tough read.
I enjoyed this book so much that I went out and bought the sequel while I was still reading it! It was creepy and clever and a really engaging read, all aimed at kids, but with some dark bits and a fair amount of violence too! I don‘t often buy books as I work in a library, but this was worth buying, and so gorgeous too! Really want to just straight into the sequel but have to read something else with a lot of reservations on it first!
This has been on my tbr pile for so long and I have finally dived in because I convinced my book club we should read it! The cover is so gorgeous and the story already full of intrigue. I think I‘ll need to get my hands on the sequel ASAP!
This is a 9-12 yrs fiction I read to my daughter as her bedtime story. She‘s 8 but still loves her mum to read to her. We loved this book. It‘s set in a town calked Perfect and the town is anything but perfect. There‘s lots of strange things happening then her own dad disappears. Then she meets Boy and they set off to discover exactly what‘s going on in this anything but Perfect town. Beware the Watchers are watching.
Violet never wanted to move to perfect.
Who wants to live in a town where everyone has to wear glasses to stop them going BLIND?And who wants to be neat and tidy and PERFECTLY BEHAVED all the time?Violet quickly discovers there's something WEIRD Going on in the town-she keeps hearing voices, her mam is acting STRANGE and her dad has DISAPPEARED.When she meets BOY she realises that her dad is the not the only person to have vanished...
Came home to this amazing package from @Liberlove for the #bookmarkswap ❤️ Kyle you were so very generous & I absolutely love everything!! I love all four bookmarks but the fox is my favorite. My son was already eyeing the Harry Potter bookmark and we are going to read the tagged book together. Cozy socks and hand warmers, an adorable llama notebook, a cactus nail file & the mindfulness book already had me giggling. I cannot thank you enough 📚😍
How cute is this cover!?!?!? I'm in love with it heheh. It's also a great book about a family who move to a town called perfect where everyone is afflicted by a sun that turns them blind unless they wear special glasses- but perfect is too perfect and when her Mum goes nuts and her Dad disappears Violet has to solve the mystery!
