This is a 9-12 yrs fiction I read to my daughter as her bedtime story. She‘s 8 but still loves her mum to read to her. We loved this book. It‘s set in a town calked Perfect and the town is anything but perfect. There‘s lots of strange things happening then her own dad disappears. Then she meets Boy and they set off to discover exactly what‘s going on in this anything but Perfect town. Beware the Watchers are watching.

Mark Z Danielewski is an author that breaks the rules and pulls you head first into his books. To be honest I will read anywhere and everywhere but if I had to pick it‘s at the beach house we go to at the bottom off the Garden is a table and I love sitting there with a cup of blanket round me listening to the waves crashing against the rocks. Childrens books have the best villains, My favourite is Mrs Agatha Trunchbull, headmistress of Crunchem Hall Elementary School. A cruel sadist who hates children and tortures them in a cupboard known as "The Chokey" and torments the lovely Ms Honey, Trunchbull is a true bully, and a fantastic villain.

The Secret Garden was one of the first books I read when I was about 7 I loved it and this beautiful story will always stay with me. It made me see that if you read a book it can take on the adventures you only dream about. I‘ve sailed the high seas, I learnt magic, I‘ve fallen in love all with the pages of a book. 😘

This is one of my favourite thrillers. I‘m not going to say anything to you about the book just trust me when I say is READ IT lol you won‘t be disappointed. It grabbed me from page one to the very last page with a plot twist that slapped me in the face I certainly didn‘t see it coming.

This was a joy to read again as it was a childhood favourite. The story of Tom who‘s sent to live with his Aunt & Uncle and lies awake in bed listening to the grandfather clock chime downstairs Ten..Eleven..Twelve...Thirteen.. Thirteen! He‘s goes downstairs and discovers that the back yard is now a magical garden. Xx

Finally getting round to reading this, my daughter got Stuart to sign this copy for me. He‘s a fantastic writer. I love Scottish Crime. Helps that I‘m Scottish lol but I still recommend you read his books start with Cold Granite it‘s fab. #scotland #murder #thriller

Loved this, this is a fun exciting witty novel. Definitely not your average run of the mill Vampire story. This is about a suburban family of vampires even though their teenage children are unaware off who they really are until one eventful night where nothing will ever be the same again. #matthaig #vampires
