Oh, how I love Dorothy Whipple.
Greenbanks is home to three generations of one family before and after the First World War and that‘s about as much as I know (and need to know 😆) of the plot before diving into this 1932 novel. So far, so delightful. ❤️❤️

CrowCAH Random thought as I came across your post, I started Charity Girl by Georgette Heyer; it is my first of hers. Read chapter one and seems intriguing already. Having some issue getting use to her writing style, but I‘ll get the hang of it, I read Austen! 5y
