Moving story of a Jewish family across the 1st and 2nd WWs and then finding each other again. A few neat endings, but overall a good read, I enjoyed it.

Should finish The Silver Music Box today. Have only read the first one in the Vera series, so picking that series up and a NF read this week(potentially!).
This was a really heartwarming novel. Beginning in 1914, & spanning several decades, the story traces a German family who facing numerous adversities are forced to disperse. The one item that links them all is a beautifully crafted silver music box. While parts of the narrative come together to conveniently, I was still charmed. And I‘m eager to read the sequel, Dreams of Silver. #KindleUnlimited #PoP20 #GoldSilverOrBronzeInTitle

Very moving story of a family‘s struggle during war. Heart wrenching, I couldn‘t but it down.
I enjoyed this book. The story is beautiful and touched on a few aspects about WWI and WWII that I didn't know about. This book with worth the read.
This book was SO GOOD! I could not put it down. It is a multi-generational story about a Jewish family in Germany around World War II. There are so many lives that cross in this book and they become separated for many reasons. They are connected by the silver music box Johann crafted for his son before he enlisted in the war. Years later, Lilian is given the music box and tries to figure out what it means. There will be a sequel later this year!
It has been a long day and I can FINALLY sit down and read a little on my Kindle before I‘m too exhausted to keep my eyes open...
Started this one tonight...a Kindle first read from a few months back. I think the number of books I‘m currently reading is starting to get out of hand 😋
This was last month‘s Kindle First book and I couldn‘t put it down. It‘s a multi-generation story of a family that‘s separated by war. It was so good. This will fit your book in translation and translated by a woman prompts if you need those. #MountTBRChallenge #10
Day 29 #emojinov #💸 I have been trying to stick to my massive #TBR piles & library books and not purchase many books right now but I find my money flying away 💸when there are great e-book bargains & I bought these five over the past week. On the plus side, the tagged book was free through Kindle First on Amazon Prime & I had a $20-ish credit on my Amazon account so the
This was a good month for kindle first picks. I had a difficult time choosing. In the end, I chose the top book and added the bottom two to my tbr list.
