As much as I hate to finish series and say good day to all the people in this world…this is too good to not read. 🧡🧡
Good wrap up of the series (except for the last paragraph or so, which I hated). I think Elisa had great character development, and I loved watching her turn into a good leader, with or without previous strengths. Good fantasy series!
Overall I really enjoyed this series. The storylines were so fast paced & compelling that I read all 3 books in less than a week! Book 2 was definitely my favorite & though the third book wrapped the series up well, it fell a little short for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I thought I would go with some satisfying series finales for today‘s #Finale prompt 😊 I have a problem with actually finishing series I have started so it was a bit of a challenge to find finales I‘ve read let alone satisfying ones 😬 #ANewChapter 🥂

Overall, this was a great ending to the trilogy. I did feel a bit cheated by the last 30 pages because so much was shoved into a tiny section. In the other books, what happened would have been elaborated and detailed over at least 150 pages and I wanted to know ALL the details about the end. A bit more dialogue from all the main characters to get an idea about what was going on and how they feel.
“It‘s the highest art form, deceiving without lying. A word is the only thing in the world made more powerful by absence than existence.”
Guys, I have loved every book by Rae Carson. This is the last book to her very first trilogy and it is just as good as the first two. These are books that I plan to buy and reread someday.

I was in a huge Barnes and Noble today here in Pineville Sth Carolina. Went looking for my next book club read Hot Milk but they didn‘t have it. Should have got the copy I saw in SAN Fran! Anyway I‘m going to need something to read soon so found this. Have never read anything by her— I think! Any one read her?

I know it's an older book/series but I finally finished and got through it. Pretty good overall I think
Absolutely fantastic! Loved, loved, loved this series and the concluding book was a perfect end to it all. All hail Elisa...probably one of the most relatable and inspiring characters I have read in SO long. This book warmed my heart in so many ways, from the romance to the adventure to the characters, it had it all in great form. Highly recommended!
This trilogy isn't quite as good as Rae Carson's Goldscryer saga, but I'm enjoying the final entry!
This the third book in this trilogy and I liked it as much as the first (which I liked a lot) but for somewhat different reasons. I'm no longer as pleasantly surprised by the world building (it is the last book), but I continue to enjoy the evolution of Elisa's character into her full strength.
Finished! The first book was a little slow to start with, but hooked me before I knew it. It's going into my revisit stack.
Sums up my night perfectly, I intended to get so much accomplished. But here I am, stealing horses and riding to save Hector and my kingdom. *sigh*
I HAVE to know how it ends. How do you leave a book like that? She's almost as bad as Karen Marie Moning. I love it. 🐛📚😜
Delightful conclusion to a trilogy with a great female lead. A reluctant regent who turns out to be just what her people needed. Great undercurrent messages of being true to yourself and believing in your own power. I also love that in a fantasy book our heroine just up and calls her horse Horse.
One of the best YA/NA series I've ever read. I loved Elisa from the first page of the first book. This was actually a re-read of the whole series, & I loved it just as much the second time! 💜
"I'm beautiful to the one person that matters...I'm beautiful to me."
This was a perfect conclusion to the series. The slow burn romance finally reaches its climax *wink wink.* This book, like the others, is a roller coaster of dangerous times and traveling to the next disaster. This series was perfection.
