Short and simple book dedication 😂
Any Tarryn Fisher fans out there? I hadn't realized that a new book of hers had come out! The concept took me a sec to adjust to, I just had a really hard time understanding half of the decisions the MC makes. But there are some pretty decent twists along the way, and I was invested by the end for sure.
PS: F*ck Marriage is not in Litsy's database, so I tagged with another with a similar title. But the books aren't actually linked in any way!
I couldn‘t put this down. I enjoyed it.
I loved this, a year or so ago when I read it on my kindle but I kind of wanted the paper version to reread... this is the only Tarryn Fisher book I‘ve read - but I‘ve been admiring the covers on some of the others...
“The Best kind of love is the love that isn‘t supposed to happen” Tarryn Fisher
“Let people feel the weight of who you really are, and let them fucking deal with it.” 💋
#TarrynFisher #FuckLove
I'm going to start reading this as soon as I quit admiring the cover! The color version makes it even more amazing, but I was too anxious and ended up ordering on my kindle
Finally reading this! Tarryn is always a go to for me! This book isn't even on the list yet. But last night was release night so go and buy it #pln
*When you love the back cover as much as the front*
A roller coaster of a story...a dream you think could be real, Harry Potter references 😍, a fascinating character being introduced in the last 25ish pages when you know there isn't a sequel to get to know him better, timing from hell for the characters, and an ending that makes you go WTF?! Yeah, I liked it, but with that ending, I'm still trying to determine how much. Goodreads link in my bio.
"I'm visiting," I tell her. "I love it here."
"Here loves you," she tells me. "Mutual love is a magical thing." *
Port Townsend has now made it to my "Oh, The Places I Will Go" bucket list. ?
"We're talking in hashtags now. I like it. I don't answer him. Fuck fear, and fuck Kit, and fuck love. I don't need any of that muggle shit."
*
I'm absolutely loving all of the Harry Potter references in this book. ??????? It's the little details that draw me in, and make my heart happy. ?
Look what came in the post today!! I won this gem off of Colleen Hoover's FB page. Her assistant, Steph, asked what Tarryn Fisher book I would like, and I decided to let her surprise me, and this is what came!! Waiting to start tomorrow night, so I can read nonstop and not be distracted with nonsense...like work. 💕📚💕📚💕 #tarrynfisher #colleenhoover #giveaway #giveawaywin
"Take off your shoes and stop running. Live barefoot and fucking fight." #word
It started out pretty good, then it got just okay and really didn't get much better from there.
I do believe that Tarryn is an amazing writer, and I had high hopes for this, and ultimately it let me down. Sure, it was captivating at first, even confusing. But as the plot progressed, I saw myself slowly losing interest. I lacked the claws and the chemistry that was in her Love Me With Lies series. I needed more justification, I needed to understand them more.

Helena Conway has fallen in love.
Unwillingly. Unwittingly.
But not unprovoked.
Kit Isley is everything she‘s not—unstructured, untethered,
and not even a little bit careful.
It could all be so beautiful … if he wasn‘t dating her best friend.
Helena must defy her heart, do the right thing, and think of others.
Until she doesn‘t.
I enjoyed this one a lot! After waking up from a vivid dream about their future together, Helena begins to develop feelings for Kit. Only problem is that he's her best friend's boyfriend.
Took some turns I didn't see coming (and some I did), but I identified with Helena a lot (and not just because of the Harry Potter references sprinkled in. Ha!). It was a satisfying read that I was pleasantly surprised to love since I wasn't a fan of Mud Vein.
Seriously relating to the main character in this book right now! ⚡️ #harrypotter #biblioweekend
All of the Harry Potter references in this book are giving me life right now 😂 ⚡️ #biblioweekend #harrypotter
"Nor do I tell her that in my mind the line between Harry Potter and real life is blurry, if not non-existent.' ?
A few weeks back when I read this book it wasn't on Litsy, but now that it's been added I can tell you how AMAZING it was. Tarryn Fisher really knows how to tell these beautiful, dark, complicated stories. The main character, Helena, is a girl after my own heart. Absolutely loved this book! ❤️❤️❤️
