This series is pretty perfect and I‘m loving doing a reread over 10 years after I read it the first time! That‘s really all I have to say - if you haven‘t read the Psy-Changeling series yet you are missing out!

ScientistSam @Riveted_Reader_Melissa and I are doing a buddy read of the series. First time reading it and I am really enjoying it! 3y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa That‘s great! 3y

Wow, the two main characters in book three of the Psy Changeling series have been through so much pain. As others have commented, it's great to see a happy ending that doesn't just magic away the trauma.

Brenna is the wolf changeling who is rescued from a sadistic Psy murderer in the first book of this series. She has to work through her trauma around Tk Psys when she falls for Judd, an incredibly strong one.
👇

ScientistSam The love story is great, and the world building/political intrigue just keeps getting stronger and stronger. There is dissension in the Psy ranks and I can't wait to get more details. 3y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa I agree, the background Psy council machinations got very real and dangerous in this one, I‘m very curious where she goes with that thread. And I thought she did a great job with Jude too, basically having to de-program himself similarly to what we‘d think of for a cult, but even more so as they tie it to their psy abilities. I can‘t wait until his niece grows up…there‘s some strong tensions brewing there already. 3y

In the end I really liked this one, Jude and Brenna both suffered a lot and truly deserved to have a happy ending of their own. I will admit though that I had to put this one down a few times as both characters needed to work through some very serious past trauma, and although I needed a break at times I was very glad Singh handled both of their trauma‘s & PTSD in realistic ways without just brushing it aside “magically.” ⤵️.

Riveted_Reader_Melissa ↪️ Plus the larger overarching plot grew much more interesting and insidious… so lots more trauma and tension there as well. 3y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa How‘d you make out @ScientistSam ? 3y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa Oh, and how long is your wait list for the next…unless you started it already. 😉. 3y

Reggie The more I read some romance the more I‘m impressed the way some of them are able to thread the needle in very real ways of recovering from trauma. 3y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @Reggie I agree, I felt the same way with some YA (like the Hunger Games), some authors are doing a really good job of building trauma, PTSD, and after effects into their stories… instead of just we won, yeah, and that‘s it, Happy Ending. 3y
ScientistSam @Riveted_Reader_Melissa just finished, actually! I got sidetracked by a book of Psy Changeling short stories 😋 I really liked this one, more than book two for sure 3y
ScientistSam @Riveted_Reader_Melissa I'm number 2 of 2 on the hold list so it's coming soon ish I think 3y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @ScientistSam Ok. I‘ll keep a look out. I can‘t wait until we get to Dorian‘s book, I want to see more of his story. 3y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @ScientistSam Yes, some of the short stories are really good. 3y
ScientistSam @Riveted_Reader_Melissa the next book came. How about you? 3y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @ScientistSam I‘ve got it too! And I should be able to start it this week. 3y

Starting the 3rd book in the Psy-Changeling series while #audioworking. I'm shelving books right now.

When I decided to re-read this series, this book was one of the ones I was most excited to listen to. I ❤️ Judd.

Unlike the Psy who defected due to emotion, Judd is still under Silence, a protocol necessary to protect everyone from his dark gift. As he grows closer to the Snowdancer Brenna, his control begins to break. Despite the danger, he is drawn to her and will do whatever it takes to protect her.

Another fantastic book in the series. 💕

I know that there are a lot of possessive males in this series, but that does not mean that there aren't some seriously kick ass women! ☺️❤️

LibrarianJen I think that's what I like about this series. The men are dominant but the women can hold their own too, and not only that, they're respected for their strengths. 8y
Bookworm54 @LibrarianJen much better put than I! :) 8y

I loved this book. This is the story of Judd and Brenna. Judd was a very interesting character and I enjoyed seeing him overcome some very difficult obstacles. Brenna is the perfect mate for him and she is fun and feisty. This was my favorite book so far!!
