The MC loves listening to true crime podcasts while puttering around the house. One day she hears something about someone she used to know. What follows is a crazy journey around Europe unraveling a mystery the police haven‘t solved. And she has to deal with her own past along the way. Great ride! #Audible #audioworking

This little gem from #Audible Originals was short but packed a punch. It‘s a pretty good thriller. I actually kept hoping my work would last a little longer today so I could wrap it up. It‘s worth a listen if you like this genre and haven‘t selected your two choices for #December yet. #audioworking

Note: I couldn‘t find this in the Litsy library.

Day 1 check in for #24b4Monday . I finished The Return (my #LMPBC book for the month), and am turning the corner on Accidental Presidents. I had plenty of time for reading and #audioworking today, but that definitely won‘t be the case tomorrow.

TheReadingMermaid It's okay girl don't give up. Take it at your own pace but don't give up being with family and friends. ❤️ 3mo

The Jefferson Tayte series is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me. The books aren‘t that great, but do provide a nice bit of escapism (great for #Audioworking!). Robinson could do with some seriously word-culling as there are a lot of superfluous sentences - in what should be an action-packed thriller, do we really need to know that “he admired Isambard Kingdom Brunel‘s collaborative creation with architect Matthew Digby Wyatt.”?

Crazeedi I read this series a couple years ago! 5mo

Happy Friday!!!
One of my co-workers' husband make the best tea biscuits and nothing makes a rainy, crappy Friday better than coming in to a whole batch of them!
Going to put my headphones in and try to get this book finished while I'm here. 👍

Finding myself rushing through this library audiobook so I can move on to something happier. Although I wouldn't say this book is expressly pessimistic, it certainly isn't optimistic either 😕. #audioworking from home today so should be able to finish this read quickly.

LauraJ I‘d take it with a grain of salt. A lot of things in the book are just his thoughts without anything to back them up. 6mo
JessNevertheless @LauraJ Thanks, I'm trying to do that. Can't stop reading though cause they are interesting thoughts 6mo

It's a long time coming, have never really organized them fully since moving in nearly 2 years ago 🤦🏻‍♀️. Wish me luck! #audioworking to the tagged book for motivation. 📚📚📚📚

Eggs Great shelves! 8mo
RidgewayGirl It‘s so satisfying to do this, though! It gives me such satisfaction to look at my well-ordered shelves. I mean, yes, it‘s weird and obsessive, too, but also satisfying. 8mo
JessNevertheless @RidgewayGirl I can't believe I've taken so long to do this, I'm so happy I can easily see what I have now! And definitely not obsessive, I'm sure our books are some of our most prized possessions 😊 8mo
