pickMostly light family dramedy about Marcy who is divorcing her cheating husband, trying to help/manage her bridezilla daughter, and trying to move on with her life with a nice new professor/artist boyfriend. Apparently, this is a sequel. It was a fine stand-alone.
Haven't managed to keep up with reading all the books with a woman holding something #behindherback, but this looks like another good one for the #tbr.
Because I need something light to read while also reading an ARC that seems a bit more complicated. AND I‘m on vacation, and a solid ten days with my hubby is a LOT, so this seemed an appropriate grab from my kindle shelf. #toomuchtogetherness
I'm on a role with these audiobooks. I can't even remember the last time I listened to the radio. 😆 So far this is kinda cute. I'm enjoying the humor even though this seems to be for an older woman. The main character, Marcie, is probably 50 to 60 years old. She has a 31 year old daughter...
pickI thoroughly enjoyed the beginning of Marcy's story in Lift and Separate and book 2 did not disappoint where Marcy Hammer, Queen (soon to be ex) to the King of Brassiere's and Bosoms,begins to navigate her new life as a single woman and mother to 3 grown children. New friends and old, love gained and love lost, weddings and babies,this book has it all! I adored Marcy's strength, her humor, and grit in the face of some of life's toughest situations
pickLOVED, LOVED this book!! First time reading a book by this author and now I have to order her debut novel. If you enjoy family drama with lots of humor, read this book! #NetGalley
