Three volumes in & I have to say this comic gets better & better. It was originally recommended to me as a series that revolutionized comics in the 80s. The writing is fantastic but it‘s the layout & the art that really stand out for me. I also really like the old school newspaper quality paper it is printed on. Beyond the visuals, it‘s a fascinating examination of man‘s relationship to nature & a wonderful character study. Definitely recommended.

It‘s been a little bit since I‘ve read volume 2 but when I got back into it, I flew straight through it! So many fun and interesting concepts that were perfect for Halloween (can anyone say underwater vampires without wanting to know more). Hoping I‘ll be able to get the next volume soon!

Seeing as it‘s October, I‘m finally able to pick up my next volume of Swamp Thing. This is currently the only thing in the horror genre that I find myself able to read. Really excited to see what the volume holds!
