Going into this book, I didn‘t know what to expect. I didn‘t know much about Krypton, other than the fact it is Superman‘s birthplace. But once I started reading it, I was very intrigued!

I‘ve read many of DC‘s graphic novels for young adults, and this one leans more on the action packed side. It is full of adventure and there is never a dull moment.

I made sure to get copy of “Beast Boy Loves Raven” as I have their individual stories as well. Aside from it being an easy read, I love how realistic and relatable Gar and Rachel are. They‘re both awkward teens who are struggling to understand who they are and what their their powers entail, all the while still dealing with normal teenage things, like having a crush. #comics #teens #DC #read

I see myself reading this again.

As I am getting more and more into comics I just finished this classic and simply loved it ! The plot was good, greatly paced thanks to the murders happening each holiday. The art was gorgeous, it‘s what you think about when you think of classical comics, with strong images. I highly recommend this one even for beginners.

What a delightful, satisfying comic! I really enjoyed reading this. The characters are great, the story is compelling, and the art is amazing. So many interesting things done with panels and sound effects throughout. I loved this beautiful graphic novel. When you're different in a small town, it's difficult to find a way to feel normal. This graphic novel tackles feeling like an outsider, fighting for your dreams, coming out, superpowers, deep and lasting friendship, and complicated family Dynamics. This is not a bad photo. The image on the book cover is hidden in deep fog. I knew nothing about this book when I once picked it up at #TheBookThingOfBaltimore. I still don‘t know much about it but was pleased to learn, in the opening chapter, that the setting is Washington, #DC. I love DC, and the writing is good. I think this book will be a winner. 😊

Since watching the Titans show on Netflix, I'm absolutely obsessed with Raven. This graphic novel did not disappoint, the storyline and art was soo good, and it turns out me and Raven have a lot in common 😂 Totally reccomend for anyone who likes Teen Titans, DC, or gothic angsty graphic novels.
