I‘m not sure if this was a #happy read for me as I probably read it at the wrong time of life so found the sad bits particularly sad and didn‘t really get much from the uplifting parts but I can see how it would be a lovely read under different circumstances! #boundtogetherjune
This was a sweet easy read, quite a touching storyline and a good message about seizing the day.
It turns out I know exactly how to be happy - I had the MOST AMAZING 40th birthday party at the weekend. So brilliant that I am still glowing with love for all my amazing friends who came and danced their socks off!!! I‘ll still read this book though as I think it‘s going to be quite sweet and touching, but mostly, yay to parties and mates!!!
This book wasn't what i thought it would be, but it was an amazing book to read!
Although the main character has lost everything in her world she held dear to her, from her baby son to her new found best friend polly, she still carries on and Polly helps her to see that she can still be happy despite all the sadness in the world and all the bad that happens.
Very sad, but very happy.
So while I‘m going to have to give this a so-so as it wasn‘t really my thing - too many cliches and just too predictable - I‘m also happy to admit I raced through it and cried like a baby at the end 😳
Next up. This was loaned to me by my good reading friend @ChloeTallis whose reading taste I trust completely! Hoping for a quick, easy read (this week is crazy)
Latest book club read. Only took a few days. A truly heartwarming read. Live life to the full!!
Day 7: HAPPY
Her shirt says #HAPPY but she is in that terrible twos phase and she never wants to listen 🙅🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

I found this book irritating at first (I am a natural pessimist and found some of the cliché phrases on happiness tedious), HOWEVER that did not last. I raced through this book and found it both thought-provoking and profound and just what I needed.I am now embarking on my own little mission of happiness and I am committed to doing something every day to ground myself & achieve it - so, guys, any tips on little daily habits that make you happy?!
Today is International Day of Happiness and what better book to be reading. I have been stuck in a major rut and feeling glum for a long time and this book is really breaking through! Sometimes you have to acknowledge you need a change of mindset and do things every day that make a small difference.
I love a Sunday. 💕
