sherryvdh Not sure what the audio is like, but I read it years ago and it was a good read, even though the subject matter is tough.

Kaye Lost in Shangrila. It‘s terrific. It takes place in New Guinea 🇬🇳 and doesn‘t have any war stuff or shooting. It‘s a bit like maybe Lost City of Z ? I haven‘t read that but these military people also get lost. It is really good and it comes in audio. 7y

Sjsherwood War but not military: Girl at War by Sara Novic or The Bosnia List by Kenan Trebincevic. My favorite war book is My War Gone By, I miss It So by Anthony Loyd. 7y
