A terrible fire in a wealthy suburban home leaves a married couple dead and Detective Lindsay Boxer and her partner Rich Conklin searching for clues. And after California's golden boy, Michael Campion has been missing for a month, there finally seems to be a lead in his case--a very devastating lead. As fire after fire consume couples in wealthy, comfortable homes, Lindsay and the Murder Club must race to find the arsonists responsible and get to the bottom of Michael Campion's disappearance. But suddenly the fires are raging too close to home. Frightened for her life and torn between two men, Lindsay must find a way to solve the most daunting dilemmas she's ever faced--at work and at home.

“Hawk. Clean-cut. Well-spoken. Blond, with side-parted hair. Pidge, bigger. Probably six two. Long brown hair. Strong as a horse. Meaty hands. Ivy League types. Both of them.” These 2 men set up a chilling tale of arson, murder, insanity.

Was good. James Patterson did it again. I did get irritated with Lyndsay with her not too sure about loving Joe, like come on the man moved city to be with you! Overall these women are brave.

Finished listening while pulling files for audit this morning #AudioWorking
These books seem to fly by to me and that probably because I‘m so hooked I never want to turn them off. This was another excellent installment with such a joyful ending. 👶🏾

So I one show I used to watch as a teenager is 7th Heaven and my favorite character was Lucy who Beverly Mitchell played will I follow her on IG and she liked now one but two of my comments on her page. So I just had a fan girl moment today. Seeing I just got the alerts of her liking them.

AsYouWish Oh my stars!!!! That is amazing!!!!! I loved that show too and Lucy was by far my favorite character.... until Kevin came along and then he sort of stole my heart... and Lucy‘s, lol!!! 3y

I got through this book so quickly, the two crimes in this book were so interesting. Pidge and hawk, were very dynamic characters. We got just enough insight on them to be invested in the story line but also to grow a dislike to them. The second crime was so different in such a good way and produced a lot of twists. Excellent all round.

Mehso-so

A fast paced read that could have used an editor‘s touch to get things more focused. Just too much going on so that it only comes across as muddled.

The seventh installment in The Women‘s Murder Club Series is my #seven #7 for #princeofjuly
This is one of my favorite series. It has been years since I read this but I still remember the arson case that the book opens with.

Happened across this on for today's #7 #NovemberbytheNumbers photo challenge. I started this series when Patterson first began it, but I haven't continued. #storyofmylife

bookloo I have never read a James Patterson! Is he an author you would recommend? 🤓 6y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @bookloo I loved the early Alex Cross books from Patterson. Great thrillers! I'm not sure about recommending his more recent books. 6y
bookloo @BarbaraTheBibliophage I‘ve heard about the Alex Cross series! I‘ll check into it! Thank you. ☺️ 6y

DebbieGrillo My favourite Patterson books aren't his typical crime dramas. THE JESTER is a must. 6y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @DebbieGrillo Thanks for weighing in. The Jester looks great. Not so sure I'm up for the other. But still, I didn't know about either! (edited) 6y
