This was an exciting start to a new heist fantasy series!
Whitesides does an incredible job of creating a memorable protagonist and a well-rounded cast of characters.
If you're looking for rich worldbuilding and an insane magic system (hint: dragons) then this is the series to go for!

I‘ve been reading this book for quite awhile. I don‘t know why it‘s taken me so long to read it because it‘s actually quite good. It‘s 784 pages, I am at 84% so I should finish by this weekend. It doesn‘t have much attention but it definitely deserves some. The writing is good, the characters are well defined, really likable, especially Ardor, and the character growth is great. The world is pretty incredible. I already know I‘m giving it 5 ⭐️
